“Call from the Mountain”

Dear Visitors, Friends and Supporters of Klosters Music,

On the 16 April, the Federal Council announced a gradual relaxation of measures to protect everyone against the new coronavirus. However, cultural events are not part of the step-by-step reopening which will take place in three stages. In one of its forthcoming sessions the Federal Council will decide when major events will again be possible. It will also decide which events are classified as major. Until this announcement is made, we are not in a position to confirm that Klosters Music will take place this summer. Meanwhile we are continuing with all the artistic and administrative arrangements for Klosters Music 2020, celebrating Beethoven and his world.

Your health, that of the artists and staff, is our top priority. In the event that Klosters Music will be permitted to take place, it is likely that we will have to make changes to the configuration of our venues. Fortunately our venues are very flexible and we are confident that we can provide a safe and comfortable environment for our audience to enjoy the concerts.

Klosters Music makes an immensly important contribution to the cultural and tourist life in Klosters. We are doing everything possible to make sure that our great concerts go ahead and maintain our committment to the artists who lie at the heart of the programme.
Music speaks to our innermost being and enriches our soul; it is an expression of our humanity.

In Klosters the «Call from the Mountain» is ever present – it has never faded away!

With warmest greetings – and stay healthy!
