For their second concert, Die Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen and conductor Pablo Heras-Casado are joined by the brilliant German pianist Martin Helmchen making his debut with the Orchestra in Beethoven’s “Emperor” Concerto. Helmchen’s majestic and elegant playing is widely admired, and he has an international reputation as an interpreter of Beethoven. Die Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen and Pablo Heras-Casado close the concert with Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony, which is regarded as Beethoven’s greatest success in his lifetime.
