Klosters Music 2025
26 July – 3 August 2025
“Myths and Legends” is the theme of Klosters Music 2025. The violinist Augustin Hadelich (Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto) and the two pianists Piotr Anderszewski (Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1) and Nikolai Luganski (Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 2) are leading musicians who will be appearing for the first time at the festival. Sir András Schiff returns to Klosters with two piano recitals.
The Munich Chamber Orchestra and the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen will each give two concerts: from Mozart via Beethoven and Schubert to Wagner. The opening concert will feature Haydn’s “Nelson Mass”, performed by the Zürcher Sing-Akademie. Chamber music par excellence will be performed by the Schumann Quartet and clarinettist Andreas Ottensamer. The family concert “Peter and the Wolf” and a performance by the brilliant classical comedy duo Igudesman & Joo on their farewell tour will add even more colour to Klosters Music.
