«CHICAGO» – IN CONCERT

City Light Symphony Orchestra
Chicago in the 1920s. The singer Velma Kelly (Catherine Zeta-Jones) is arrested for a double murder. In prison she meets her biggest fan Roxie Hart (Renée Zellweger), who has shot her lover. The two plan a stage comeback – with the help of attractive lawyer Billy Flynn (Richard Gere). Rob Marshall’s film adaptation of the 2003 musical “Chicago” with its sensual music by John Kander won 6 Oscars. Songs such as “And All That Jazz”, “Cell Block Tango”, “Razzle Dazzle” and “I Move On” are packed with sex appeal. Danny Elfman’s film music fits seamlessly into the musical. The City Light Symphony Orchestra conducted by Kevin Griffiths will make “Chicago” groove in the concert hall of the Arena Klosters and bring the gripping sex-and-crime story to life with seductive strings and piercing brass.
