Alphorners Davos Klosters
The alphorn more or less lost its original role in the mountains, but as a musical instrument it won the hearts of the listeners and became a symbol for Switzerland. It is fitting to open the three days of Interludes concerts in the festival tent with the near-natural and unique sounds of the Alphorn – in the spirit of its original role, communication. We are happy to welcome the local Alphorners. The group consists of alphorn players from the Davos-Klosters region.
From 2.15p.m.

Musikgesellschaft Madrisa Klosters-Dorf
The music societies have an important place in Switzerland’s musical tradition. They are a fundamental part of customs and social life and are often the first contact for young people with music. We look forward to the performance of a local music society becoming a tradition at the Interludes. Today the music society Madrisa Klosters-Dorf has 24 active members and regularly plays at music events. It is conducted by Simon Bühler from Pragg-Jenaz.
